2017 National Light Industry Excellent Quality Management Group Release and Exchange Meeting

From July 18 to 21, a QCC achievement exchange meeting organized by the Light Industry Branch of the National Quality Association was held in Yichang, Hubei. On behalf of our company, I attended this grand exchange meeting. The conference represented more than 400 people from various units in 24 provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country, and 28 industries.

The leaders participating in the meeting included Du Tonghe, Vice President of China Light Industry Federation, Secretary-General Wang Xuhua of China Light Industry Federation, Chief Judge Guo Meiping, Senior Diagnostician of the National Level, Director Gong Yueping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Light Industry Association, Teacher Zeng Qingbiao, National Level Quality Activity Diagnostician, and Liu Qinhua of Henan Xinfei Electric Appliances. A total of 11 awards were generated at this conference, and 232 QC groups were awarded to Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliances and other enterprises as the National Light Industry Excellent Quality Management Group in 2017; 73 enterprises including China Salt Industry were awarded to be outstanding enterprises in the 2017 National Light Industry Quality Management Group Activity; 24 enterprises including Qingdao Beer were awarded to be outstanding enterprises in the 2017 National Light Industry Team Construction; 64 leaders including Beijing Dahao Technology were awarded to be outstanding leaders in the 2017 National Light Industry Quality Management Group Activity; 77 enterprises including Guangdong Midea were awarded to be outstanding promoters of the National Light Industry Quality Management Group in 2017...

Teacher Guo Meiping made an overall report on the results released by each unit and commented on the shortcomings in the results report:

1 ) The overall level is the same as last year. The group activity level of some enterprises has significantly improved and has begun to be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the "Quality Management Group Activity Guidelines";

2 ) The topic selection is rich, among which there are many topics in terms of quality improvement and consumption reduction, lean production, and energy saving, which demonstrates employees' enthusiasm, creativity and effort to participate in quality improvement;

3 ) Pay attention to data analysis and statistical analysis, be able to speak with data and facts, which better reflects the scientific nature of QC activities;
