On May 18, the Second Council (Expanded) Meeting of the Seventh Chinese Association for Culture, Education and Sports Goods was grandly held in Wuyi, Zhejiang. More than 150 member units of the China Association of Culture, Education and Sports Products attended the meeting. Wang Shicheng, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Light Industry Federation, and Li Peisong, Director of the Research Office of China Light Industry Federation, were invited to attend the meeting and conducted corporate research. Wang Zhenfei and Wu Haiyun from Haibo Company attended the meeting and conducted exchanges.
At the meeting, all deputies listened to the report of Lu Zhongyuan, former deputy director of the State Council Policy Research Center, on the economic situation, and listened to special speeches on enterprise development by National People's Congress representative and Chairman of Guangbo Group Wang Liping, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of Taishan Sports Industry Group Bian Zhiliang, and Deputy General Manager of Deli Group You Junwei. The meeting reviewed and passed the "Proposal on Adding Shanghai Roewe Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. as the Vice Chairman of the Seventh Council."
The "Work Report of the 7th Council of China Association for Culture, Education and Sports Products" delivered by Lin Xiaochong, Chairman of the Seventh Council, made a comprehensive summary of the industry development and the work of the association since last year, and put forward the association's work priorities in 2013, requiring the association to further do a good job in adhering to the service purpose and improving service level, fully promoting scientific and technological innovation, focusing on improving standardization work level, giving full play to the role of various professional committees, continuing to organize the construction of industrial clusters and characteristic areas, and striving to strengthen the association's own construction. The report will be sent to all delegates in the form of documents for revisions.
The discussion was divided into cultural and educational supplies groups and sports supplies groups. When Vice President Wang Shicheng participated in the cultural and educational supplies group discussion, he put forward five opinions on how to create an upgraded version of the cultural and sports industry. The representatives believe that Vice President Wang’s speech is very important and inspiring to us, and expressed that it will be implemented in our work. During the discussion, everyone also said that the economic situation report delivered by Comrade Lu Zhongyuan deeply analyzed the national policy trends, gave examples to explain the significance of the combination of macro and micro, sorted out the work ideas for the representatives, and enhanced their confidence in the innovation-driven transformation and development of the cultural and sports supplies industry; the speeches of Guangbo Group Co., Ltd., Taishan Sports Industry Group and Deli Group Co., Ltd. are both high and in line with the actual situation of the industry, and are very inspiring.
In combination with the report, the representatives exchanged their experiences on how to overcome the current situation of high production costs and labor shortage in the industry, and put forward the following suggestions:
First, relevant government departments should further change their functions, give full play to the fundamental role of the market in allocating resources, reduce the procedures and links of approval, reduce intervention in enterprise business activities, and provide support and support to light industry industries that develop the real economy, stabilize exports, expand employment, and safeguard people's livelihood, and focus on helping enterprises cultivate the market; second, we must change our work style, be honest and efficient, further improve work efficiency, continuously improve the quality and level of government employees, and improve management level; third, further standardize the market, increase efforts to crack down on counterfeit and shoddy products, effectively protect intellectual property rights, and protect brands. Guide consumption, help enterprises develop the market, and create a good external environment for enterprise development; fourth, give full play to the advantages of industry associations being familiar with the industry and enterprises, and hand over the work on the formulation of industry standards, brand cultivation, etc. to the association; fifth, industry associations must safeguard the overall interests of the industry and stop unfair competition among peers; actively reflect industry problems and strive for national policy support.
During the meeting, the delegates also attended the 2013 China Wuyi Cultural and Educational Tourism Supplies Expo jointly organized by the China Association for Culture, Education and Sports Products and the Wuyi County Government.
