On this day when the autumn wind is refreshing and the osmanthus is fragrant, our Metal Science and Technology Department held a National Day Track and Field Games, aiming to promote national fitness and give full play to the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the team.
Due to the limitations of time and venue, we divided the field race and track race into two periods. Tiansai is held in the company in three days after get off work every day. The track competition will be held on Sunday, September 25 at the stadium of Beilun Middle School. Registration started a month ago, and colleagues were eager to try it. They all took advantage of their spare time to prepare for the projects they participated in. Due to the long-term lack of exercise, many colleagues sprained their feet and scratched their hands during the first exam. But they never gave up easily. Among so many field competitions, what moved me the most was the men's high jump competition. The day was not good and seemed to be trying us intently, but the competition was still held as scheduled. The rain was getting heavier and heavier. Although the sand on the ground had already covered the whole body and the clothes on my body were soaked by the rain, the contestants still overcame various difficulties and finally achieved good results.
In the track competition, the contestants also performed well. Chief referee Wang Malay was busy for the smooth progress of the competition, but he still participated in the men's 1500m race. Due to a leg ligament strain, he did not achieve the expected good results. However, he endured the pain and persisted to the finish line and finally won fourth place... There are many such examples, and their persistent spirit deeply touched me. As my colleagues said, the results of the competition were not important. What is important is that we have all participated and worked hard. It is precisely because of so much effort that our competition has achieved a complete success.
The game is over, but the fierce fighting scene on the field seems to be still in front of you. During the competition, everyone helped and encouraged each other, and cheered loudly for the contestants. Isn’t this the purpose of our holding of this competition? We must bring these to work, cooperate with each other and help each other in work, and only with hard work will we have fruitful results. In this harvest season, we are not only in the results of this competition, but in the spiritual harvest. This harvest is the most valuable and is exactly what we pursue.
