The 2016 season FLW CHINA China Professional Bass Fishing Competition Shaoguan Station event ended successfully

From March 26 to 27 , FLW CHINA 's 2016 season officially kicked off at the Kuangren International Lure Base in Shaoguan, Guangdong. Qi Jingfa, former vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and president of the China Leisure Fishing Association, Ms. Casey Ann Flannel, President of Operations of the United States , Mr. William David Washburn, Vice President of Operations of FLW , representatives of the Central Florida Sports Bureau, representatives of Shaoguan Municipal Government, event sponsors and co-organizers attended the opening ceremony.

In 2016 , the China Division held a total of six competitions. As the first stop of this season, Shaoguan Jingluo and Theory Town will be the starting point for 25 groups of players from all over the country to compete for four tickets to the US Tour, competing for the highest honor of the World Professional Bass Fishing Competition - the FLW Wood Cup and a $ 1 million championship prize. After two days of fierce competition, the championship, runner-up and third place and the largest single-tail prize were decided, and the Shaoguan station competition ended perfectly. Dou Huihui and Hu Shi won the championship with a total weight of 7.770kg . They both ranked first in the two consecutive days of competitions. The two held hands to hold up the first sub-stop championship trophy in FLW CHINA history. Pan Youyi and Hu Xiaoyu won the runner-up in the sub-stop race with a score of 7.735kg , and they were only 35g different from the champion . Tang Gang and Dai Kefeng teams won the third place in Shaoguan with a score of 7.690kg . The combination of Zhao Zheng and Guo Hangtao won the largest single-tail award with a score of 1.785kg . As soon as their fish appeared, they attracted everyone's attention and became the brightest focus.

As the highest level of global bass fishing competitions, FLW has developed from a local league in the United States to a global sports league. China, Canada, South Korea and Mexico have all joined the FLW family. FLW is not only a platform for fishing, but also a platform for cultural exchange.
