The 20th China International Boat and its Technical Equipment Exhibition was grandly opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall on April 9. This exhibition gathered new products of electric marine thrusters related to the domestic market. Under the leadership of Mr. Zhu, 10 colleagues from our Haibo thruster field visited and studied.

The exhibition is relatively large in scale, mainly divided into two parts: boats and boat accessories. Marine thrusters are part of the boat accessories, which is the focus of our visit. This exhibition gathers local brands of electric marine thrusters such as Haswing, Yodoo, and Haiman. However, compared with previous exhibitions, the number of new products has been significantly reduced. Among them, Haswing's newly launched 18-pound thruster is more impressive.

Due to my own position, I am more interested in the structure or process of some products. Especially at the exhibition, a high-power gasoline thruster, its suspension damping mechanism attracted my attention. I wanted to introduce it to our products to make our products more innovative and distinctive. At the same time, due to our current products, the anti-corrosion capacity needs to be strengthened, especially the motor stator shell and suspension bolts, which are prone to corrosion and rust in seawater environments, which affects product performance and reduces customer satisfaction. In response to our product defects, we take advantage of the exhibition opportunity to find relevant anticorrosion coatings, or seek new processes to improve anticorrosion capabilities through parts with better anticorrosion performance at the exhibition.

Through visiting this exhibition, I personally feel that at present, the number of companies making electric marine thrusters in the domestic market has increased, and their technical strength has been continuously strengthened. Especially brushless thrusters, we can say that we have lagged far behind the market rhythm. On the one hand, this is a whip to us, and on the other hand, it also inspires us to continuously strengthen our technical capabilities so that we can stand in the increasingly competitive field of electric marine thrusters.
