The 7th National Standard "Overall Requirements for the Control of VOC in Cultural and Sports Products" was held in Beijing

On June 13, 2017 , the China Association of Culture, Education and Sports Products held the last (7th) discussion meeting for the draft of the national standard "Overall Requirements for Cultural, Sports Products and Parts for Volatile Organic Compounds" submitted for review in Beijing. Experts from 9 companies including Ningbo Beilun Haibo Precision Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which is from the cultural and sports products industry, experts from the National Cultural and Educational Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and the National Sports Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Hu Hongjiang, Vice Chairman of the China Association of Culture, Education and Sports Products. He introduced the process of drafting and researching this standard, and emphasized the importance and urgency of completing this green environmental protection standard as planned.

Yuan Tianxiang, Secretary-General of the Fitness Equipment Professional Committee of the China Cultural and Educational Sports Products Association, reviewed the process of formulating this standard and gave a detailed explanation and explanation of several issues in the formulation of the standard.

The participating experts conducted a careful and in-depth discussion on the standard text based on the test results and actual production conditions, appropriately modified the expression of the terms such as the standard scope and sample preparation method, and decided to conduct supplementary tests and verification of the formaldehyde content of certain material products.

Finally, Secretary-General Yuan Tianxiang put forward suggestions and requirements for the follow-up review and approval of the standards.
