Smart Home (Shanghai) Exhibition

With the advent of the "Industry 4.0" and "Internet +" era, it will further promote the leap development of China's smart home market. Relevant data shows that in 2014-2016, the size of China's smart home market will continue to grow by more than 20% in three years, and the industry development will further accelerate in 2016-2017, and by 2018, the size of China's smart home market will reach 139.6 billion yuan. Smart homes will enter a period of rapid development in the blue ocean era. In order to further understand the smart home products and competitors in the market, we decided to participate in the 2018 Shanghai Smart Home Exhibition.

On April 2, 2018 , a group of four of us came to the E7 Pavilion of Shanghai New International Expo Center. The theme of this exhibition is "Intelligent Innovation, Change Life". As soon as we enter the pavilion, we are facing various door locks: fingerprint and password locks, facial recognition smart locks and iris recognition door locks, etc. The exhibitors who look at the door locks occupy most of the pavilions. In addition to the dazzling door locks, there is a smart home exhibitor named "Turing Cat" that attracted my attention. The exhibitor is a subsidiary of Guangtian Group, a top 500 company in China. In this exhibition, "Turing Cat" explained the intelligent display of homes, communities, hotels and office buildings through the display of hardware and software. The hardware products are smart switch panels, smart sockets, curtain motors, face recognition locks, wireless bidirectional door magnets, wireless gas detectors, wireless smoke detectors, wireless infrared detectors, wireless water flooding and immersion detectors and wireless emergency call buttons, etc. The software systems include the "Turing Cat" APP client, the "Turing Cat" central control system, community operation system, hotel management system and office management system. The "Turing Cat" APP client integrates information display, message prompts, security warning, home appliance remote control, device addition and scenario configuration, and is compatible with IOS and Android systems. It can be used for mobile devices such as mobile phones, IPAD, and smart meters. The "Turing Cat" central control system can connect various infrared, radio frequency and WI-FI devices. The community operation system can view and manage residents of the entire community, view and process community security alarm data and push information to residents of the community. The hotel management system can book and place orders online, handle self-service procedures, intelligent push, intelligent equipment exchange, hotel energy management and hotel space management, etc. The office management system can be environmental monitoring, intelligent linkage, remote control, energy conservation and environmental protection, safety warning and space management, etc.

This exhibition has only one exhibition hall, which is relatively small in scale. At the same time, the automated robot exhibition on display has not been carried out. It is a bit regrettable compared to previous exhibitions, but the products, solutions and technologies emerging in the smart home industry are also amazing.
